The complete series, 2024 to 2026 A project of Mikvah Tahara Association
Mikvah Monday
For 100 weeks, every Monday, we told the story of one mikvah: a building site in Córdoba, an opening in Cebu, a community in Sofia rising after a fire. Every one was built with help from Mikvah Tahara Association. Here is the whole series, newest first.
About the series
One mikvah, every Monday
Mikvah Monday began in May 2024 with a simple promise: every week, one more mikvah. Some weeks it was a city's long Jewish history, some weeks a pour of concrete or a filter that finally arrived, and some weeks a whole community celebrating its new mikvah.
Each one is a community that asked Mikvah Tahara Association for help. A community cannot fully keep the laws of family purity without a mikvah, so we guide them through the planning, the halachic details and the building itself. New to the subject? Start with what is a mikvah?
